Mystery Spot

Heat of the moment ...

Yesterday was Tuesday, but today is Tuesday too ...

Do these tacos taste funny to you?

Pig in a poke!

Ah. Mystery Spot. Definitely one of my favourite episodes, up there with A French Mistake, Fan Fiction, and Regarding Dean.

Mystery Spot is, of course, about Sam reliving Tuesday over and over again ... like Groundhog Day.

My Mystery Spot is kinda the same, but more enjoyable ... what episode do you love to watch and why, and what's your favourite quote?

Mystery Spot

@arsen_aleck

Favourite episode to rewatch: There are some many options to chose from. Masterpieces like "Baby", "The French Mistake" or "All Hell Breaks Loose: Part Two" come to mind. But I have to admit, there are scenes in almost every episode I tend to skip, because sometimes it can be pretty boring to watch unimportant little details. That said, I've never skipped a scene from "Baby" or "Dark Side of the Moon". If I had to pick one, I would say "Dark Side of the Moon" is my favorite episode to rewatch. It has everything: every scene is full and has an impact, the episode is brilliantly written, family moments are heartbreaking/heartwarming, it advances the greater arc of the season... This episode has so many epic moments that I can't possibly give all of them justice right now. It's one of my favorite episodes in the entire show (on my Top 5 list). There are other episodes I rewatch more, such as "Changing Channels" or "Yellow Fever", but "Dark Side of the Moon has to be my favorite one to rewatch for sure.

Favourite quote:  This two lines together are my favorites, actually, but if I had to pick absolutely one line, it has to be Dean's reply. Walt: "He made us and we just snuffed his brother, you idiot. You want to spend the rest of your life knowing Dean Winchester’s on your ass, ‘cause I don’t. Shoot 'im." Dean: "Go ahead, Roy, do it. But I’m going warn you, when I come back I’m going to be pissed. C’mon! Let’s get this show on the road." Because Dean is a badass who will do anything for his brother. There are other great lines later in the episode, but that fear in Walt's voice and grudging acknowledgment of Dean's relentless personality are pretty impressive, and made me love Dean even more.

 @Larrs9325

Favourite episode to rewatch: "Who We Are" is probably my favorite because it so beautifully encompasses some of my favorite motifs throughout the entire series.

Favourite quote: "I hate you. And I love you."

@GinaTerry20

Favourite episode to rewatch: Regarding Dean. Because Jensen Ackles deserves ALL the awards!

Favourite quote: "That's ... a ... lightstick!"

@AMckicat

Favourite episode to rewatch: Picking just one is like picking which child is your favorite. Swan Song because it's so powerful and poignant.

Favourite quote: Endings are hard, but then again - nothing ever really ends, does it?

 @linusfan13

Favourite episode to rewatch:  There are so many episodes that I love to re-watch with many of them already listed, so I am going to go in a different direction. Two of my favorites are "Hunter Herioci" and "Hell's Angel" I love Hunter Heroici because it a funny episode and it's the episode where Cas decides that he wants to be a hunter and tells Sam and Dean he found them a case. I love Looney Tunes cartoons and it's cool how this episode has so many similarities to Looney Tunes, such as the heart jumping out of the man's chest, the falling anvil, x marks the spot, and especially the freeze frame of Dean, labeled Hunterus Heroicus, tackling Dr. Mahoney, labelled as Grotesques Villianus, which is similar to the Coyote and Roadrunner. I re-watch "Hell's Angel" because I love Misha's portrayal as Lucifer and this episode showcases that really well. I love his snark and spunk as he in heaven trying to convince the skeptical angels to help with Amara.

Favourite quote: Hunter Herioci: "I'll interrogate the cat." Hell's Angel: "Hey. If it makes you comfy, could call me God" and "He who hesitates...disintegrates."

@rayra_win

Favourite episode to rewatch: 12x12 Stuck in the Middle (With You), because of all the Team Free Will action and the out of the world directing by Richard Speight. This episode had a kind of complexity that if done incorrectly, could mess up the whole episode, but the way Rich made sense of every thing, every organization, the whole episode went together without a hic!

Favourite quote: "I love you. I love all of you." -Castiel

@4eternalbonds

Favourite episode to rewatch: It is difficult to choose just one SPN episode, however, I admit I have watched "Fan Fiction" many time because, it was Chucks way of making the boys face many aspects of their lives they buried and were denying exist.

Favourite quote: Marie: Okay. Let's do this. I understudied Sam... so I used this for my one woman Orphan Black show last year, but it's going to have to work for Sam. Writer, director, actor. I'm gonna Barbara Streisand this bitch. *****Even more now because of @dicksp8jr blessing us with his own BBOD*****

@birdyrobin1222

Favourite episode to rewatch: Lazarus Rising, Castiel when he looks at Dean. It's that gentility he shows :).

Favourite quote: Castiel to Dean "What's the matter? You don't think you deserve to be saved." It's not a question but a quiet, statement.

Jenna F.

Favourite episode to rewatch: Mystery Spot is definitely one of my favorites to rewatch because it is funny, emotional and it goes against there normal format. Definitely in my top 5 favorite episodes.

Favourite quote: Sam Winchester wears makeup, Sam Winchester cries his way through sex, Sam Winchester keeps a ruler by the bed and every morning when he wakes up...ok enough.

@SPNSandra

Favourite episode to rewatch: Mystery Spot and French Mistake

Favourite quote: Tuesday it is Tuesday again.

@readstoescape

Favourite episode to rewatch: ALL of them. Especially seasons 1-7, & "fan fiction" & "Baby". Some eps in 8-12 too. S9 gave us the heartbreak of THAT scene fr Purge, while 9.22 gave us reconciliation & "I'm proud of us". S10 gave us 10.2 & Dean quoting Princess Bride while he kicked Cole's ass... so, yeah. All of them. Im currently on 9.1 of my rewatch (I wont say what # rewatch I'm on - let's just say it stays on top of my "continue watching" queue. Lol) Thank goodness for Netflix :)

Favourite quote:  There are SO many "What am I supposed to DO?!" rips my heart out every frkn time "Why do we have to save all these people?" & "i wanted to stay" just breaks your heart "Dont dump your wackadoo all over us, we'd rather not step in it" is always a giggle "I'm proud of us." Is legendary & this season we got the gem "if we die, we do that together too" buried in some of the meh :)

@glitterinchaos

Favourite episode to rewatch: Lazarus Rising because what’s not to love? Dean comes back from Hell, he reuinites with Sam (for one of my favorite bro hug moments) and then... CAS (cue the greatest character entrance of all time)!!! That episode has my entire heart and is both beautiful and terrifying. I still get chills watching it.

Favourite quote: “I’m the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition.” And of course... “You don’t think you deserve to be saved.”

@IamMishaHead

Favourite episode to rewatch: My Favorite episodes to rewatch are “Lazarus Rising” I like to say that day changed my life forever...... because I looked up Misha Collins. 😂 Seriously though, that Castiel entrance was the best thing. My other favorite episode to rewatch is “Heaven Can’t Wait” I love human Castiel.

Favourite quote: My Favorite quite from “Lazarus Rising” is “This is your problem Dean, you have no faith.” -Castiel

@DesiraeSterite

Favourite episode to rewatch: So many to choose from but I think I would have to go with Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets. Aside from the shipper in me who loved the married bickering moments between Dean&Cas, and poor Sam playing mediator, what I really loved about the episode was how it went out of the way to reiterate that to Dean and Sam, Castiel is family, which is something I feel some parts of the fandom needs to accept.

Favourite quote: Dean Winchester (to Lily): See, Cas is our family, so we can’t let you hurt him.

@woelfin261172

Favourite episode to rewatch:  I'm in the hospital right now I'm watching Regarding Dean 5 times. I love the intensity of the bathroom scene. I can't imagine how hard it was for Jensen to perform this not in front of a mirror. To do this into a camera?! Wow just wow.

Favourite quote: I don't apologize for loving that fish not to you not to anyone... Your hair is so bouncy! - Do we have to fix him?

@Starbellygirl

Favourite episode to rewatch: Even though it’s not as fun as some other episodes, I always enjoy “On the Head of a Pin.” The directing & acting is astounding, the drama is exciting, and I love getting to see Cas’ relationship with the brothers grow.

Favourite quote: Castiel: Uriel's the funniest angel in the garrison. Ask anyone.

@waywardcosmos

Favourite episode to rewatch: 11x04 Baby -- I love seeing Sam and Dean bond and have happy moments in the middle of all the fighting. And I love that they included Cas in this too, even if just over the phone. Sam and Dean... talking, honestly, from the heart, for a change. Instead of lying to each other. And the cinematography - being filmed from inside the Impala. It's new for this show and I love it. Cas on the phone while Dean fights outside the Baby. Beautifully filmed and scripted.

Favourite quote: "You know what? We are home."

@CamillaManthe

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favourite rewatch episode is 100% "hammer of gods" I love Lucifer and he is so damn bad ass in this ep; but still shows feelings while Gabe is standing against him.

Favourite quote:  "No one makes us do anything" or "Watch your tone..."

@samikitten

Favourite episode to rewatch:  The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo. It was the first episode of Supernatural that I watched, and I love it. Charlie is so awesome!

Favourite quote:  "If you can't score at a reproductive rights function, then you simply cannot score."

@sarahsimmons712

Favourite episode to rewatch: Out of almost 300 episodes, "Baby" is at the top of my list, particularly the part where Sam and Dean sing "Night Moves." I'm convinced the guys broke character there because it looked like they were having a ton of fun during that little sequence. It always makes me smile.

Favourite quote: It's a toss up between "We are home," and "Dude, nice shorts." "It's a free bunker."

@LBethCon

Favourite episode to rewatch: Just my Imagination, because I love my imaginary friends

Favourite quote: She's got Sparkle on her face.

@CrowNoYami

Favourite episode(s) to rewatch: Mine isn't an episode it's a person. I rewatch the Trickster/Gabriel episodes. Favourite out of them is probably Hammer of the Gods.

Favourite quote:  "No one makes us do anything."

@GinaTerry20

Favourite episode to rewatch: The French Mistake

Favourite quote:  'That's fake me. This must be fake mine!

@PSchafhausen

Favourite episode to rewatch: So many favorite episodes. Yellow Fever, Dog Dean Afternoon, Regarding Dean, Born Under a Bad Sign.... So one of my favorite episodes is Who We Are, season 12, episode 22. Dean finally is able to confront his feelings with his mom which is something that he's needed to do.

Favourite quote: "I hate you and I love you." Who didn't bawl during that scene."

 @patriciamullis

Favourite episode to rewatch: Abandon all hope. What an ensemble cast! Ellen and Jo. Cas and Meg. The introduction of Crowley. Cas drinking shots. Bobby making them take the group pic. The demise of Ellen and Jo never fails to reduce me to a sobbing mass. They deserved an Emmy nod for that scene. The absolute grief on Sam and Dean's faces as they leave. That lovely Edlund blend of humor and tragedy. Hey, sometimes I just need to cry. And, laugh.

Favourite quote: Are you giving me the last night on Earth speech?"

@A__Ste

Favourite episode to rewatch:  Baby, because watching it makes me always feel better. It´s my feel good episode. It has such a positive vibe

@sammie_2789

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is First Born because of how much Sastiel is in it. It shows how much their brotherhood has grown throughout the seasons and how much trust they have in each other.

Favourite quote: “Sam, I want Gadreel to pay as much as you do. But nothing is worth losing you. You know, being human, it didn't just change my view of food. It changed my view of you. I mean, I can relate now to how you feel.” - Cas

@AMckicat

Favourite episode to rewatch: Depends on what emotion I'm looking for French Mistake- for giggles Swan Song - for pain Fan Fiction- for love Baby - for technical shots & bro bonding LARP & the Real Girl - for Charlie.

Favourite quote: Amen, Padeleski I'm here Sammy. Goodnight, jerk /night, bitch It's good to be queen.

@wisconsennach

Favourite episode to rewatch: I love rewatching Heaven Can't Wait because I freaking love human Cas, and it's so full of angst and longing and I'm a masochist who loves the pain.😂😂 I'm proud of Cas for starting to pull himself up after being kicked out of the bunker with nothing, and my heart breaks a bit for both Cas and Dean for losing each other without the benefit of knowing why.

Favourite quote: "Nobody told you and nobody explained. You're just shoved out, kicking and screaming into this human life without any idea why any of it feels the way it feels. Or why this confusion, it feels like it's a hair's breath from terror or pain. Just when you think you do understand, it'll turn out you're wrong. You didn't understand anything at all. I guess that's just how it is when you're new at this."

@saintlov

Favourite episode to rewatch: Which is my favourite to watch depends on my mood. When I want to laugh I love Dog Dean Afternoon. Jensen absolutely nails merging with Colonel and adopting doggie mannerisms. When I'm in a Sam mood, I love Bad Day at Black Rock. It showcases Jared's amazing ability at comedy. but Born under a Bad sign is also wonderful, how he can switch so quick and you know he's not Sam. It's kind of Jared's super power.

Favourie quote: Dog Dean Afternoon : Dennis DeYoung's not a punk. He's Mr. Roboto, bitch. Bad Day at Black Rock : I lost my shoe Born under a bad sign: Dude you... You like full on had a girl inside you for like a whole week. It's pretty naughty.

@wyldedandom

Favourite episode to rewatch: Love to rewatch Dead Man's Blood. It has great interactions between all three Winchester men. And I am a big fan of Jeffery Dean Morgan.

Favourite quote: John Winchester: "If you're reading this, I'm already dead..." That "sonofabitch” -- we get to hear John say Deans catchphrase if you will.

@SimarilSPN

Favourite episode to rewatch: Fan Fiction. It's a beautiful tribute to the show and fandom. The fandom references show they see and hear us. They know how we feel.

Favourite quote: And then, Dean becomes a woman. It's just for a few scenes. - It's a well known fanfic trope and it shows they do explore the fandom world.

@samikitten

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is actually Changing Channels! It's so hilarious, and it's one of the few episodes with Castiel and Gabriel.

Favourite quote: "Mr. Trickster does not like pretty boy angels."

@rayra_win

Favourite episode to rewatch: Stuck in the Middle (With You) (12x12). Mostly because if how the story was told in that episode, the direction, the storyline, and adventures of TFW!! Loved how the episode jumped to different time stamps each time, really kept the suspense going.

Favourite quote: "You're my family. I love you. I love all of you."

@8amyc8

Favourite episode to rewatch: Scoobynatural because it was an amazing episode, an amazing crossover between supernatural and Scooby-Doo, and because I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard at an episode in a while.

Favourite quote: “Jinkies!”

 @AnniePhoenix93

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is Stuck in the middle with you because it gives me all the feels. Cas was going to die and we get this big moment of his finally revealing his feelings for Dean. It kills me every time.

Favourite quote: "I love you", " I love all of you"

 @psycholhaiine

Favourite episode to rewatch: The man who would be king S6EP20 i just love the scene where cas is searching and waiting for a answer. It reminds me how it feels like being a human. Cas is like us, we dont know if we are doing the right thing or are we on the right path. And dean and sam so heart broken when their bestfriend betrayed him.

Favourite quote: Thats why im asking you father one last time, am i doing the right thing? am i on the right path? You have to tell me, you have to give me a sign. If you don't im gonna do whatever i must -Castiel

@Readstoescape

Favourite episode to rewatch: Frontierland has it all :) cowboy Dean & cowboy Sam, humor (Dean's face w the saloon girl is priceless) angst w the Phoenix & his Douche-bag tormentors & an awesome twist ending ;) can't go wrong

Favourite quote: Sam Colt: Well, when you've done this job as long as I have... a giant from the future with some magic brick doesn't exactly give you the vapors.

@excentricoldbat

Favourite episode to rewatch: Baby. All that action contained in that small space.

Favourite quote: C'mon,c'mon,c'mon,c'mon! That's my girl! (With a kiss to Baby's dashboard)

@Proud_Mother85

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is is Red Meat. It shows just how strong Sam really is as well as the lengths Dean will go to to save him. Sam not only gets shot but one of the people he and Dean save tries to strangle him, he fights off and kills 2 werewolves, takes their truck back to the Impala, tries to warn Dean about the guy they rescued being bit but cell reception cuts out so he drives the impala to the hospital where Dean is, shoots the guy who just became a werewolf and saves the day before collapsing.

Favourite quote: “Say bye bye to Luigi Mario.”

@8amyc8

Favourite episode to rewatch: Probably “The End” in season 5 because I found it funny and I liked seeing the gust play a different role then they usually did and I liked the story and feel of the episode.

Favourite quote: “What? I like past you” by Future world Castiel or “Hoard toilet paper. Hoard it like it’s made of gold. Cause it is” by future world chuck

@BlueSkyBrBa

Favourite episode to rewatch: It really depends on the mood, but “Don’t Call Me Shurley” is one because of the payoffs and the performances that really sell the episode. Furthermore, it’s an episode where it really does look like the end of everything(more so than some other episodes) but no matter how bad things get, there’s always hope that things can get better. When it comes to this episode I have two favorite moments that make my top memorable spn moments list.

Favourite quote: CHUCK: You know, you really are a terrific editor, Metatron. METATRON: (Chuckles.) Well, I was a terrible writer. A worse god. It's good I've got something going for me. CHUCK: (Takes off his glasses and stops typing.) Yeah, you know, I have to say, I didn't see the whole evil-turn thing coming. METATRON: Mm-hmm. CHUCK: (Chuckling.) Why did you try to be me? METATRON: That was just a sad, pathetic cry for attention. CHUCK: (Chuckling.) Who's attention were you trying to get? METATRON: Yours. (CHUCK appears to be surprised.) METATRON: You are light... and beauty. Creation. (CHUCK leans back) METATRON: Wrath. Damnation and Salvation. (Starts crying.) And I don't care if I was just the angel nearest the door. (Voice breaking.) You picked me. Your light shined on me – Me! Oh, and the warmth. But then you left me. You left all of us. (CHUCK starts to look guilty.) METATRON: It wasn't just the saps who were praying to you. The angels prayed, too. And so did I – every day. CHUCK: I know. METATRON: You want to sell the best-selling autobiography of all time? You explain to me – Tell me why you abandoned me. Us. CHUCK: Because you disappointed me. You all disappointed me. METATRON: (Stands up and looks at CHUCK with wet eyes.) No, look. I know I'm a disappointment, but you're wrong about humanity. They are your greatest creation because they're better than you are. (CHUCK starts to look more guilty as he looks at METATRON.) METATRON: Yeah, sure, they're weak and they cheat and steal and... destroy and disappoint. But they also give and create and they sing and dance and love. And above all, they never give up! But, you do! CHUCK: (Walks over to SAM and DEAN.) We should probably talk.

@bettinabier

Favourite episode to rewatch: I've too many favourite episodes. One of them is Yellow Fever. Dean who´s so scared about everything.

Favourite quote:  Dean: Sam, I'm not gonna make a left-hand turn into oncoming traffic. I'm not suicidal... Did I just say that? That was kind of weird. Sam: Do you hear something? Dean: Am I haunted? Am I haunted?!

Dean: Oh, I'm not carrying that. It could go off. I'll man the flashlight.

Dean: You know what? Screw this. Sam: Woah, woah, woah, Dean. Come on. Dean: No, I mean, come on, Sam. What are we doing?! Sam: We're hunting a ghost. Dean: A ghost, exactly! Who does that? Sam: Us. Dean: Us? Right. And that Sam, that is exactly why our lives suck. I mean, come on, we hunt monsters! What the hell?! I mean, normal people, they see a monster, and they run. But not us, no, no, no, we -- we search out things that want to kill us. Yeah? Huh? Or eat us! You know who does that? Crazy people! We...are insane! You know, and then there's the-the-the bad diner food and then the skeevy motel rooms and then the truck-stop waitress with the bizarre rash. I mean, who wants this life, Sam? Huh? Seriously? Do you actually like being stuck in a car with me eight hours a day, every single day? I don't think so! I mean, I drive too fast. And I listen to the same five albums over and over and over again, a-and I-an-and I sing along. I'm annoying, I know that. And you --you're gassy! You eat half a burrito, and you get toxic! I mean, you know what? You can forget it. Sam: Woah, Dean. Where are you going? Dean: Stay away from me, Sam, okay? Cause I am done with it. I'm done with the monsters--and--and the hellhounds and the ghost sickness and the damn Apocalypse! I'm out. I'm done. Quit.

@MaryRuthWeber2

Favourite episode to rewatch: Season12 Episode 12! Castiel tells the Winchesters he loves them and that they are his family. Then they show him how much they love him because he is the family!

Favourite quote: Castiel: I love you, I love you all. Dean: We are fighting for you, we don't leave family behind. (I'm sure this is not exact, but the making is all there.)

@phoenixfire2912

Favourite episode to rewatch: S4.E1 “Lazarus Rising” Our first introduction to Cas.

Favourite quote:  “I’m the one that gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition.” Again....cuz Cas

@historychick29

Favourite episode to rewatch: Whenever I’m having a bad day and need a smile, my go to is Changing Channels. It has my 4 favs in it and we see not only Sam and Dean, but Jensen and Jared peak out every once in a while too. Gabriel is there and his identity is revealed and Cas finds out that his brother is still alive.

Favourite quote:  Helllloooo, Trickster!!! Come on, I heard you two yahoos were in town, how could I resist?

@AndriaSeaside

Favourite episode to rewatch: I have a go-to rewatch list where the #1 "favorite" spot shifts a lot, but in terms of "viewings since the episode aired", the episode at the top is definitely 11.14 "The Vessel." Everyone's characterization and character development was completely on point, and the scene between Lucifer and Sam presents some of the most amazing acting from the entire series from both Jared and Misha. I'm blown away by both of them there, as well as by Jensen and his portrayal of Dean, and the realization that he comes to about self-sacrifice for the greater good, throughout the whole episode.

Favourite quote: This exchange: Lucifer: Maybe it's because you're like the girl who kept turning me down at the prom. I will touch your soul, just because you asked so nicely. And I'll use your spell to blast through the warding and retrieve Dean and the, um, Hand of God. And then when Dean comes back and he finds this place decorated with your guts, I will tell him the truth, Sam. I'll just say, 'Dean -- Dean... he knew the risks, he wouldn't take no for an answer.' Sam: Lucifer. Lucifer: In the flesh.

@tavia_alaine

Favourite episode to rewatch:  It's Don't Call Me Shurley. My reasons for loving this episode are rooted in having grown up atheist but having some not so decent people try and force their religion on me. I always figured if their was a god, he had abandoned humanity a long time ago and too see god portrayed in such a light. One that made sense. That he left, that he was in reality a coward who hid. It made sense. I am still atheist. I don't believe in God, but I do think that Supernatural's portrayal of God is the most accurate to the source material and to the world we live in.

Favourite quote: CHUCK: ...this was as close as I got to something as good as or better than me or my sister. METATRON: The National Park System? CHUCK: Nature. I mean, look at what nature created on its own. What's more, nature's smart enough to know that sometimes, there's no fixing things. Sometimes, you just have to wipe the slate clean.

@lydrewsmom

Favourite episode to rewatch: I'll submit my number two since my first is already here. All In the Family is chock full of good material. Starting with a brief visit from Kevin and ending with the rescue of Lucifer, which ultimately brings our Castiel back to us. The reactions to the reveal of Chuck being God is right in line with their characters. Sam's full of awe and questions (even if some of them are below Sam's intelligence level, I chalk it up to him being dumbfounded) and Dean's much less impressed. What results is one of my all time favorite scenes of the entire series. Dean unloading how dissapointed and frustrated he is. Chuck listens but instead of apologizing or giving explanations, he tells him, not unkindly but firmly, that he isn't his father. Both performances give me chills every time I watch. The strategizing and insight into God's relationship with Lucifer was intriguing. I never cared for the Amara/Dean relationship but I admit it was crucial to the story arc. Much occured in this episode but what I found most evident in this was how very done God was BUT in the end his conversation with Dean showed us the culmination of the entire show. "If my plan doesn't work than humans will step up. You, Sam and others that are chosen, will find a way. You're the firewall between lightness and darkness." This episode (and the previous) is also bittersweet for me because it marks the end of the shy, underrated Chuck Shurley I'd fallen for. Leaving in his place, a layered complex character.

Favourite quote:  The Mutant Ninja Turtle? Thus spake the Lord. Right, and he sings, like crappy old folk songs. (Thank you for the tip off to Fair Thee Well) Occasionally I do answer prayers.

@auntiejakjak

Favourite episode to rewatch: 6.17 My Heart Will Go On I love seeing Bobby allow someone to be there for him.

Favourite quote: "Awkward"-Balthazar

@chrisscross_87

Favourite episode to rewatch: I will always rewatch 9x06 Heaven Can’t Wait. At one point, I just had it on repeat on my DVD player. It has Abaddon being her fantastically evil self. Crowley being sarcastic and cranky about being all chained up usurped from his throne. Sam being a bamf interrogator, while also being empathetic. Cas dealing with being human and heart broken. Dean trying to make up for it. Also who DOESNT love Cas babysitting?

Favourite quote:  “Nobody told you and nobody explained. You're just shoved out, kicking and screaming into this human life without any idea why any of it feels the way it feels. Or why this confusion, it feels like it's a hair's breath from terror or pain. Just when you think you do understand, it'll turn out you're wrong. You didn't understand anything at all. I guess that's just how it is when you're new at this.”

 @bohowitch

Favourite episode to rewatch: It's hard to narrow it down to just one, but if I must…Goodbye Stranger would have to be it. So many emotions in that one episode! Robbie Thompson's writing just blends angst, action, & humor in the perfect combination. Not to mention that's the episode where my first ship was simultaneously canonized and sailed off into the sunset with the beautifully tragic ending of Meg Masters. I still get emotional thinking about it and have a redemption headcanon that makes it's heartbreak just a little less. ❤

Favourite quote: "Go, save your brother…and my unicorn."

 @Detroit_Mommy

Favourite episode to rewatch: One of my favorites that is always entertaining is Dog Dean Afternoon. I mean, what's not to love? Dean uses a spell to talk to a dog about his killed owner and ends up acting like a dog, and hearing all animals. It's a typical monster episode, with lots of humor.

Favourite quote: Always knew we'd find the source of all evil in a vegan bakery. Dick move, pigeon! Why are you arguing with the dog about Styx?

@chosenfamilySPN

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is Fan Fiction, because, well, it's my favorite episode! But also, I just adore the whole thing, start to finish. There are so many bits of appreciation for the SPNfamily, and the song always makes me cry at the end.

Favourite quote:  "Supernatural has everything. Life, death, resurrection, redemption -- but above all, family." - Calliope

@AllieCobrando

Favourite episode to rewatch: Ahh there's so many to choose from....but 'Baby' I could watch that over and over. I love the way that we got to see what Baby sees. How shes always been there for the boys, how she's home to them. Plus there are some great lines in that episode.

Favourite quote: "Don't night moves me!"

@tvfan201

Favourite episode to rewatch:  So hard to pick one!!! Probably have to go with French Mistake. Just so hilarious and clever. Love "Jared's" over the top house with alpacas in the yard! 😂

Favourite quote: Hey, that's fake me! This must be fake mine! You married Ruby?!?! 😂😂😂

@Magdalena5880

Favourite episode to rewatch:  Pilot! This is our introduction to the Winchester boys. This is where we fell in love with them at first sight. This is the core and basis of Supernatural, the beating heart and soul of the show and its stories. This is where Sam and Dean come to brilliant and undeniable life, enchanting us so thoroughly as to make us spend the next 13 years on the road with them. This is where it all starts. This is where a Sam Winchester and a Dean Winchester become Sam&Dean in our hearts.

Favourite quote:  Sam & Dean: Jerk. Bitch. Dean: Dad went on a hunting trip... and he hasn't been home in a few days. Sam: When I told Dad I was scared of the thing in my closet, he gave me a .45! Dean: Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole. Dean: No chick-flick moments. Sam: We've got work to do.

Favourite episode to rewatch: The 200th episode ("Fan Fiction")

Favourite quote: "There is no singing in Supernatural!"

@BryDeborah

Favourite episode: This is a hard one, but have to say Changing Channels. The episode is a roller coaster of giggles, mixed in with the more serious revelation of the Trickster being Gabriel and Dean chastising Gabriel for being too scared to stand up to his family. Definitely seemed that influence Gabriel's future actions.

Favourite quote: No, no, Mr Trickster no like pretty boy angels. " This was so cute and Dean's expression was hilarious. ☺

@sheilacolley

Favourite episode: The End TWO Dean's Two words, thigh holster lol Hippie Cass Sam in that white suit!

Favourite quote: Dean: So, you're human. Well, welcome to the club. Future Castiel: Thanks. Except I used to belong to a much better club. And now I'm powerless. I'm hapless, I'm hopeless. I mean, why the hell not bury myself in women and decadence, right? It's the end, baby. That's what decadence is for. Why not bang a few gongs before the lights go out? But then that's, that's just how I roll.

@endversemisha

Favourite episode to rewatch: 9x03 "I'm no angel" I feel like Castiel lost faith, he had no where to go and that's how I feel a lot of the time so I kind of related to that.... To his pain and loneliness... I could be wrong but I can't really think More of why I like that episode I just do...

Favourite quote: "what if you were to find out that no one is listening? That God had pretty much left.. That heaven had gone out of business... what would you do?"

@RebaWinchester

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to continuously rewatch is - and I’m not even pandering - Changing Channels. It’s hilarious and and makes fun of so many shows and then hits you right in the teeth with finding out that the Trickster is really Gabriel and he just wants it all to be over. The ending is saddening when they leave Gabe just in the holy fire, but then Dean hits the fire alarm.

Favourite quote: “Well I say,... no guts. No glory” - Dean in the CSI spoof

@Riath84

Favourite episode to rewatch: Changing Channels without a doubt. It's an amazingly wild episode where it feels like all the limits are off. Plus it had Gabriel and Cas interacting.

Favourite quote:  "Calm down? I am wearing *sunglasses* at night! You know who does that? No-talent douchebags! I *hate* this game! I hate that we're in a procedural cop show, and you want to know why? Because I *hate* procedural cop shows! There's like three hundred of 'em on television, they're all the freakin' same, it's "ooh, a plane crashed here," oh shut up!"

@classichassis

Favourite episode to rewatch: Ep4 S10 Heaven and Hell. Dean has a tender love scene with the angel Anna in the Impala and at the end of the episode Dean opens up to Sam about his time in Hell. Jensen totally broke down after this scene and had to take a break from filming. Which leads into my fav quote!

Favourite quote: With trembling lips and tears streaming down his cheeks, Dean confesses to Sam that, “The way I feel inside, I wish I couldn’t feel a thing, not a damn thing.” I may not have written it completely correct but that’s how I hear it in my head.

 @Aaaahhhxy

Favourite episode to rewatch: Lost & Found. I know, I know...Not really the kind of feel good episode you'd pick for a rewatch. An yet...I've seen the episode easily 20 times since October, and that's a low-estimate. We're probably closer to 30-something. I keep on coming back to it extremely regularly. And there are many, many reasons why. First, I think it's one of the best written episode, period. Everything flows naturally from one scene to the other. After the chaotic and tragic season finale, instead of a fast-paced episode, we get one where people get to reflect on the losses and the future. It's also the best character introduction we've seen in a while : I fell in love with Jack so quickly, and he was everything I didn't knew I needed in the show, charming, innocent, funny at times. That nougat scene always squeezes my heart in all the right ways. But the main argument is probably how strong Jared and Jensen's work is. The boys are in such a strange state, in such a weird mood, and yet, everything falls into place, and everything rings so true. Sam and Dean have suffered unfathomably at this point and they're still fighting. I love that episode more than I will ever be able to tell. It's a masterpiece, and the perfect first step to an otherworldly season.

Favourite quote: "Thank you. You say thank you. And you say you're sorry. You hope there's somewhere without sadness, or pain. You hope there's somewhere better. You say goodbye". Sam

Editor's note: Just reading the above quote brought tears to my eyes. Lost & Found -- and Jared's performance in it -- will always tug at my heartstrings. If you want to find out why: http://www.changing-channels.com/Episode-reviews.php, the very last review at the bottom.

@LNied25

Favourite episode to rewatch: I have multiple, but that being said I absolutely love French Mistake and Yellow Fever. French Mistake is where they make fun of themselves in a way, it was very well done and quite entertaining. Something I haven’t seen on any other show which is special. Yellow Fever is very close to my heart for one specific reason and that’s because my son laughs every time Dean gets scared of the cat. Dean was super hilarious almost made me pee my pants a few times. Jensen did an extraordinary job playing that.

Favourite quote: Yellow Fever: “You know who does that? Crazy people! We are insane!” French Mistake: “oh crap..I’m a painted whore”

@MonarchMish

Favourite episode to rewatch: "The End" because I'm a sucker for the way the episode was shot, the colors of the endverse future, seeing Cas wearing anything but his trench and I'm a huge fan of the fan theories about thenature of Dean and Cas's relationship in the endverse.

Favourite quote: "Don't ever change"

 @book_lover_86

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode of Supernatural is, without a doubt "Changing Channels" - I love that episode primarily because it's revealed that The Trickster is the Archangel Gabriel, and you get to see the character development unfold so beautifully. It also gives me perspective as to why I was immediately drawn to Gabriel. We both hide behind a mask of humor and sarcasm, and we both handle family drama the same way, by running away and hiding.

Favourite quote: My favorite quote is, "Gabriel, Okay? They call me Gabriel." and for a bonus, my second favorite is, "Hells yeah! Let's light this candle."

@woelfin261172

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode is 'Regarding Dean'. The acting performance of Jensen Ackles is outstanding. But I already mentioned that. Immediately afterwards follows 'Just my imagination'. Dean Winchester meets Sully Sam's apparent but not-so-imaginary childhood friend. "You and me -- library - now !!!" There is a joke in every scene. Richard Speight, Jr. has done a damn good job here.

Favourite quote: She's got sparkles on her face.... Are you having a stroke? Do you smell toast?

@BlueSkyBrBa

Favourite episode to rewatch: One of my favorite episodes to rewatch is “Don’t Call Me Shirley”. This is because of the pay offs from the long build up to the Winchesters finding and finally having a talk with God(hi Chuck). Furthermore the performances in this episode are all around great, especially from Curtis Armstrong and Rob Benedict. I love these scenes the best besides the ending because it’s so deep and moving. For me those moments are the highlight of the episode.

Favourite quote: “We should probably talk.”-God(Chuck) [The long awaited moment]

@AllieCobrando

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite has to be Regarding Dean and Baby. Its a tie between them. Regarding Dean I love because we get to see a beautiful performance by Jensen and see him basically act innocent. Then his scene in the bathroom pure gold. Makes me cry every time. Then my other is Baby because we get to see what Baby sees, how she's been there through it all and she's still home for the boys.

Favourite quote: Regarding Dean- 'My name is Dean Winchester, my brother is Sam, my mother is Mary, and Cas is my best friend.' Baby- 'We are home.'

@erika_spn

Favourite episode to rewatch: Fan Fiction. I love everything about that episode, I love the music. I love the jokes. I love that it was a nod to us, the fans.

Favourite quote: There's no singing in Supernatural.

@Mina_Gustafsson

Favourite episode to rewatch: Fanfiction ep 10.05 I love that they let us in ❤️ the big ships got mentioned. That they added music, the kids, all of it really. And poor Adam was also remembered and got to join 😂

Favourite quote: Dean "why are they standing so close together?" Marie "reasons" Ha ha 😂 poor Dean learning about subtext

@sinnerforhire

Favourite episode to rewatch: Baby, because it’s basically a love letter to fans of old-school Supernatural, i.e., codependent-brothers-against-the-world Supernatural. The brother moments in this episode are incredibly well-acted by Jared and Jensen; they feel so intimate and “small” (in a good way!), like we’re just looking over the shoulders of two *real* people.

Favourite quote: "Sam: Don’t 'Night Moves' me. Dean: Ssshh. Just let it wash over you."

@AlyssaSchaefer6

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode to rewatch is Season 4 Episode 1: Lazarus Rising because Castiel’s introduction was so badass! Misha’s acting was superb in that episode, he actually scared me a little.

Favourite quote:  “I’m the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition.”

 @erinlelder1

Favourite episode to rewatch:  Tall Tales for these reasons funny slow dancing alien and it has Richard in it.

Favourite quote: "Dean this is a very serious investigation we don't have time for any of you're blah! blah! blah! BLAH!"

@Maeglinhiei

Favourite episode to rewatch: Changing Channels. Aside from the uproariously funny shenanigans that the Trickster throws the boys in, I felt like this was one of the episodes that really hammered in the "inevitability" of their "fate", coming from someone separate from the folks who actually orchestrated the Apocalypse in the first place. For all the colour and laughter this episode brings, it also, for me,brought in the beginnings of the Winchester's despair that finally peaks in the later Swan Song.

Favourite quote: "Don't you ever, *ever* presume to know what I am."

@Readstoescape

Favourite episode to rewatch: Seasons 1-6. No? Cant pick a whole season? Dangit. Fine then... surprisingly enough, I really liked S11/10 The Devil in the Details. (Overall S11 was NOT my fave season. I really didnt care for the Amara story line) Sam's strong denial & standing up to Lucifer, all the re-aired footage fr new angles fr S6&7 was amazing, and most of all, Sam's faith, in Dean. Excellent show of Sam and Dean's relationship & growth in each other (toss in the scene fr Dont call me Shurley when it's revealed that Sam carried the Samulet all this time, and Damn! It made my heart hurt)

Favourite quote: "You're gonna count on Dean?" -Lucifer "Always have" -Sam THIS is my Supernatural

@Jedicat1965

Favourite episode to rewatch: The French Mistake because I love the boys reaction to finding out their lives are a TV show and Balthazar is one of my favorites.

Favourite quote: "Dude looks like a lady."

@cloudsetc

Favourite episode to rewatch: Swan Song.

Favourite quote: Well then I aint gonna let him die alone.

@B2daItch

Favourite episode to rewatch:  If I can only choose one, it'll have to be Bad Day at Black Rock. It was the first time we met Bella, and the first time The Boys made me laugh harder than you should at a "scary" show. Dean's face tells us all we need to know about how he feels about Sam's clumsy bad luck.

Favourite quote: I lost my shoe.

@kansasspnfamily

Favourite episode to rewatch: LARP and the Real Girl. I LOVE Charlie so most of her episodes are my favorite. But another thing that can make an episode my favorite is seeing the boys have a chance to just have fun. Their lives are so intense and it rarely lets up, so I love seeing them experience joy.

Favourite quote: "These kids today with their texting and murder."

@woelfin261172

Favourite episode to rewatch: My favorite episode is 'Regarding Dean'. Jensen presents Dean so vulnerable and almost helpless that you just want to hug Dean. Nevertheless, humor is not neglected. The scene in the hotel room with all the sticky notes is both sad and funny at the same time. As a spectator you do not know if you should laugh or cry. The mirror scene in the bathroom is unparalleled. Considering that Jensen had no mirror but the camera in mind - my respect. Rowena said in a scene that Dean finally unlearned to speak and then breathe. When he stormed into the house with the weapon and the Witch killing bullets and turned off the witch and then the wizard, I realized that he did not know how to speak. This episode is by far the one I've watched most. Even though the healing scene (purple light and a second later, Dean and Rowena appear) clearly failed.

Favourite line: Sam: Dory? Dean: I'm not gonna apologize for loving that fish. Not to you, not to anyone.

@sevalkilic1991

Favourite episode(s) to rewatch: These days: Hello, cruel world Regarding Dean, Yellow fever, changing channels, mistery spot, French mistake, red meat, all hell breaks loose 1,2 no rest for the wicked, sacrifice, do you believe in miracles. Mine are gut wrenching ones mostly.

Favourite quote(s): You CANNOT be in that crater back there! I can’t.. If you’re gone, I swear, I am going to strap my beautiful mind brother into the car, I am gonna drive us off the pier. You asked me how I was doing, well NOT GOOD! You said you’ll be here! Where are you??!! Dean Winchester

@theneomaxie1

Favourite episode to rewatch: There are many I could watch over and over again, but I particularly love Road Trip (9x10). I love seeing how Dean and Cas’ relationship is portrayed in this episode, and how supportive they are of each other. Plus it’s amusing!

Favourite quote: "I prefer the word trusting. Less dumb. Less ass.”

@Aaaahhhxy

Favourite episode to rewatch: Baby. It’s my go-to episode for everything. I even celebrated the passage between December 31st 2017 and January 1st 2018 with it : good combination of last episode of the year and first one of the new year. The first time I watched it, the episode made me cry, not because of Supernatural’s habit of killing my people and breaking my heart, but, simply because it made me realize fully how much I love this show and how much I love the Winchesters. There was something so...Strong in that very episode. I think it even has my favorite scene of the whole show : the view of the brothers sleeping in the car. This particular image filled my heart with so much love for those two... Centering it on Baby was a genius move, once again, not something other shows would have had the courage to attempt, and as per usual, what Supernatural tries, Supernatural passed with flying colors. It was fun and emotional, Jared and Jensen were even better than their average awesome level, Misha at the phone was downright hilarious, and they gave us an episode that was both daring and strongly anchored in the Supernatural tradition. Yeah I’d watch it again and again and again and again and then one more time.

Favourite quote: Dean : "Let’s go home." Sam : "You know what? We are home."
